I was very impressed with the services provided by the company which exceeded our expectations. We did the Everest Base Camp trek for 14 days and from the beginning to the end, the whole team’s commitment to customer service was outstanding. This was evident starting with Ganja’s email communications on the status of our tour with the ever-changing COVID restrictions and continuing even post-trek on the required PCR testing requirement in which Manager arranged for the test to be performed at our hotel.

The trek to EBC was both the most challenging & most rewarding thing we’ve ever done. Our experience was enhanced by our guide, Arun, and porter, Derba, who both went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and accommodated our every need. They allowed us to hike at our own pace and were never in a rush. We always felt safe and immensely enjoyed our ECB trekking experience due to their guidance, expertise, and professionalism.

Travel Away Trek is a fabulous company and I highly recommend them to other hikers.

From the first contact I was really impressed with Travel Away. Every question I had was answered within hours. I decided on a private trip to give a bit more flexibility. I was glad I did that as during the trip I wanted to make a few changes like trek to Monjo on the first day therefore making day 2 a lot easier (which I can hugely recommend for anyone on one of the earlier flights). I also wanted to climb Kala Patthar during the day to get (in my opinion) the much better view of Everest with the sun shining on it and the valley rather than behind it. That meant not enough time to go to pheriche that same day but no problem, we went back to Lobuche and stayed there. All changes were done with no problems. Even a flight change.

Prakash and Baghi (guide and Porter) were just brilliant. To be honest they became companions rather than guides. They always ensured everything went smoothly and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for better people to do the trek with.

Anyone looking to book trek in Nepal should look no further than here. They are faultless.
